Best Cars for Senior Citizens

For the next 18 years, boomers will be turning 65 at a rate of about 8,000 a day. Based on this statistic, senior citizens are on the road with a vengeance and the traffic challenges are increasing.  Safety specialists predict that by the year 2030, when all baby boomers are at least 65, they will be responsible for 25% of all fatal crashes.  (USATODAY.COM)

Consumer Report’s October issue issued a list of new and used vehicles that scored well for access, visibility, front-seat comfort, driving position, and controls.  The list includes:
